Testimonials

“Among the many choices for preschools in the area, Sunshine Schoolhouse offers, by far, the warmest family environment coupled with a dedicated and caring staff of teachers who know how to encourage and inspire young learners. From the start, I was impressed by the directors’ personal interaction with each student and parent, as well as their prompt attention to any question or concern I’ve had. I could not be happier to have both my sons attend Sunshine Schoolhouse.”

“When you walk through the doors of Sunshine Schoolhouse you immdiately feel the love and warmth of the school and all its teachers. Sunshine Schoolhouse is without a doubt the very BEST preschool in Monmouth County. Sunshine somehow figured out how to have a challenging curriculum and also make it fun for the children. Once you visit Sunshine you can’t help but enroll your child!”

” I started Sunshine in 2000-2002 and returned again in the year 2010. The school is a wonderful, warm, nurturing place and hasn’t changed. The teachers , assistants, and the owners could not be more welcoming, caring, and supportive. I love all the creativity, the special shows, and crafts that the children make. I especially love how they teach the children educational lessons and incorporate it through God’s world. These are truly memories to cherish and a beautiful experience for all involved. This is my last time here, but if given the opportunity, I would return again and again!!”

“You could say that Sunshine Schoolhouse has been a ‘family tradition’ that I chose to follow… for almost two decades now my extended family has sent their children to the loving and amazing teachers of Sunshine Schoolhouse at both the Freehold and Millstone locations. Because of the wonderful stories they shared with me, I too chose this preschool for my three children. In 2007 I attended the Mommy & Me program (one 1/2 day) with my twins, after which they attended the 3 year-old program (two full days) and then the 4 year-old program (three full days). I loved the step-up curriculum/schedule which I truly felt helped to effectively transition and prepare them for the daily schedule and educational demands of kindergarten. My youngest son and I also attended Mommy & Me last year and he is currently attending the 3 year-old program with Mrs. Weidman in Millstone, along with my nephew. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the school, its talented teachers, and especially its devoted directors, Susan Frank and Lois Furlong. Every child is treated with doting love and special attention, and even now my older children love going back to visit and to see the friendly faces of their prior teachers. The school promotes a true sense of community and fosters friendships between the children and their families that will endure long after the preschool years. The curriculum, crafts and creative shows/presentations all demonstrate how tirelessly the teachers work, and how much time they spend planning each school day and every special event. For me the choice was easy… I cannot imagine a more nurturing, attentive and loving environment for my children… or for yours!”

My daughter comes home beaming everyday and the work you guys do each and every day with her is wonderful. She is star student this week and can’t stop smiling. So a million thanks for everything because our family is better having the Sunshine preschool in our lives.”

“As a former Pastor and employer of Susan Frank, it was my delight to work with her when she was the Director of our Care Center of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Old Bridge,N.J. Her vision of what good “child-care” should be was an inspiration to all of her staff and to the congregation. Her cheerful attitude and insightful knowledge of young children was especially helpful in the building up of our Care Center. We were sorry that she left us to begin her own endeavor many years ago. But I know that the same dedication and loving Christian concern forms everything the she does. As the years’ have gone by, we continue to remain “good and close ” friends. I would not only highly recommend her Sunshine Schoolhouse, but if our children were living closer, I know that they would be a part of her educational facility.”
